Man Of God . Mentor . Activist . Speaker
Meet Greg H. Jackson
Greg Jackson adopted Charlottean, Man of God,father of 3 girls, was a rapper and a sous chef when the September protests began.
He showed up with others to protest the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department at its headquarters the day after the shooting of Keith Lamont Scott but a crucial conversation that day changed his trajectory – eventually, he founded the non-profit Heal Charlotte,
helped train officers how to communicate with the community in volatile situations, and has created an after-school camp for at-risk youth in his northeast Charlotte neighborhood of Orchard Trace Condominiums. Serving the community and being a bridge of communication between the community and its officials is what drives him. In his words "If everybody did a little, no one will have to do a lot". Since founding Heal Charlotte in 2016 Greg has been the recipient of awards such as the MLK Gold Medallion Award and NCCAP's After School Individual Champion Award.

My Life Scripture
